Parallaxy gameplay guide

Missions in Parallaxy

Mission planning starts with a server-validated preview. The preview calculates the route, one-way duration, arrival and return timing, and the selected fleet’s contributions before launch.

Mission availability

Only the mission types listed here have their required feature switches and public catalog data available.

Attack

Send a selected formation against another commander’s unshielded settlement. Attack and defense resolve at arrival; reports record the outcome, and surviving ships return.

Spy

Send a selected formation toward another commander’s unshielded settlement. A successful report estimates target resources, defenses, and activity; Deep Sensors improves that report’s precision. A failed sweep records whether the fleet was detected.

Transport

Carry a positive cargo of Alloy, Crystal, and Fuel to another settlement. The cargo must fit the formation and exist at the origin; any amount the destination cannot store returns with the fleet.

Anomaly expedition

Choose a currently offered anomaly, use its required ship family, and preview the route and any configured commitment before launch. The outcome report records the result, losses, and earned resources.

Plan the fleet and journey

The launched order must still match the preview and the settlement revision it was calculated from.

Build a command formation

Command missions can combine Scout, Raider, and Hauler. Colony Vessel remains part of the separate colonization flow.

Review travel time

Formation travel starts from the slowest selected ship family’s effective speed, then applies navigation contributions. Distance, effective speed, and the configured minimum determine the route duration.

Read the report and track the return

Outcomes resolve at arrival and create time-limited settlement reports. Surviving command fleets, expedition fleets, earned resources, and undelivered transport cargo return when their order calls for a return flight.

Colonization uses a separate expansion order

Colonization is governed by settlement, research, vessel, destination, and mission-capacity requirements rather than the command-mission type switches.
